when everything is bright and going sunny
remember Meher Baba and know it’s all his grace


when things are dark and gloomy and there’s no chance for success
remember Meher Baba and accept it as his wish


Beloved Baba’s love will fill your sails and float your boat
and then he’ll overturn your plans and drown our self


the best plan is to try and please him with your love
then throw out all the strangers and make your heart his home


forget about the mind with all its senseless chatter
and all those things we think we want and need


give up give in and cheerfully leave it all behind
and leap without a second thought into his heart
